Receiving your Emails
To help ensure your Lichfield Mercury Jobs emails reach you in the future, please add help@jobs.thisislichfield.co.uk and jbe-vac@jobs.thisislichfield.co.uk to your Safe Senders' List or Address Book.
Below are some guides on how to do this for some of the most common email providers.
Hotmail
- Sign in and click on 'Options' then 'More Options' in the top right of your screen.
- In the 'Junk e-mail' section click 'Safe and blocked senders'
- Click on 'Safe senders'.
- Enter each email or @jobs.thisislichfield.co.uk into the left hand box.
- Click 'Add to list >>' button.
Outlook 2003 / 2007
- In the top navigation bar click on 'Tools' then 'Options'
- In the 'E-mail' section click the 'Junk E-mail…' button.
- Click the 'Safe Senders' tab and then the 'Add…' button.
- Enter each email or @jobs.thisislichfield.co.uk into the text box.
- Click the 'OK' buttons on each of the boxes until you return to the main screen
Alternatively
- From your inbox right click on our email.
- Click on 'Junk E-mail' and then click 'Add sender's domain (e.g. @example.com) to Safe Senders list'
Yahoo Mail
- On the left hand side of your screen click 'Add' next to 'Contacts'
- Enter the email addresses into the 'Work Email' or 'Home Email' boxes.
- Press the ‘Save’ button at the top of the screen
Alternatively, to instruct Yahoo to filter it to your Inbox:
- Open your Yahoo mailbox.
- Click on 'Options' in the top right of your screen.
- Click on 'Filters'.
- Next, click 'Add' under the filter section.
- Under "If all of the following rules are true..." in the top row, labelled 'From header', make sure 'contains' is selected in the pull-down menu.
- Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, and then enter one of the addresses above.
- At the bottom, where it says "Move the message to", select 'Inbox' from the pull-down menu.
- Click the 'Add Filter' button again.
Gmail
- From your Gmail Inbox, click on 'Contacts' on the left-hand side.
- In the screen that appears click on the 'New Contact' (top left) button.
- Type the addresses in the Email' box.
- Then click 'Save'.
AOL
- Open our email containing the address you want to add.
- Click our email in the 'from' field.
- Select 'Add to Address Book' in the 'Info' window.
- Enter any information you wish on the Address Card and click 'Save'.
